Why can't GeoBase find data files after an upgrade?
After installing a Geobase upgrade (for example, upgrading Geobase 2.8 to 3.0) you may get this error when you try to run GeoBase:
Could not find any data files
The default location for Geobase data in 3.0 is:
C:\Program Files\Telogis\Geobase\GeoBaseResources\gb.3.0
and the location in 2.8 is:
C:\Program Files\Telogis\Geobase\data\2.8
If you install Geobase 3.0 over an existing Geobase 2.8, the data will not be copied to the new directory.
You should copy (or move) the existing GBFS files from your data\gb.2.8 folder to your data\gb.3.0 folder.
